Tools for Interacting with the Land to Facilitate Inner Peace through Nature Connection
Many cultures have provided us with different tools to connect with nature. Many of those tools overlap each other. These ancient practices take us out of what can currently be perceived as a turbulent time back to a simpler time. When we trusted in the natural world much more than we do today.

Cosmic Walk
The Cosmic Walk was created by Sr. Miriam MacGillis of Genisis Farm of New Jersey, in the mid 1980's. My first experience with the cosmic walk was at a retreat center I attended in Michigan.
The Cosmic Walk is a walking meditation that takes us on a journey through the beginning of time and the progression into our current reality.

Labyrinth
The Labyrinth is a walking meditation used as a spiritual tool to deepen one's experience of divine presence.
The design for the Labyrinth used at NatureSoul will be the Chartres Cathedral Labyrinth. It will be a 60' circular maze which will have a single path that leads to the center and then a single path that leads back out.

Medicine Wheel
The medicine wheel is a universal, archetypal symbol of change and growth. It represents the four seasons along with our own birth, life, death, and rebirth.
In the four quadrants of the medicine wheel, you will find native herbs and plants. There will be stumps located in each quadrant to sit on during meditation and contemplation. A firepit will be located in the center for personal offerings.

Meditation Circle
A meditation circle will be located in the Northwest corner of the property.

Wailing Wall
Symbolism can play a big part in our personal journey's. After a day of contemplation and soul searching there may be a need for some form of release. The Wailing Wall will provide just that. You will be able to pick up a rock or pinecone, something natural to the land and throw the item into the Wailing Wall, releasing what you need. This can provide a great sense of relief.
This sacred space will be kept cleansed and holy through ritual and ceremony.

Pollintor Garden
The entire property will be home to pollinators & local wildlife.
The main pollinator garden covers an area that is 60' x 20' planted with native perennials and annuals.

Lavender Garden
The lavender garden is located at the southwest corner of the property measuring 30' x 15'.
